1. Introduction

Welcome to IQ Derma Cape Town (“IQ Derma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
We are a professional aesthetic and skincare clinic located at the Equinox Building, Sea Point, Cape Town, South Africa, offering advanced lymph drainage facials, skin rejuvenation, and other cosmetic and skincare treatments.

IQ Derma Cape Town uses the Fresha online booking platform (available via iqdermacapetown.co.za or the Fresha app) to manage appointments and payments for our treatments and products.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment, or engaging with us through our Fresha booking system or our website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making an appointment.

2. Our Services

IQ Derma Cape Town provides aesthetic and skincare treatments, including but not limited to:

     

      • Lymph drainage facials

      • Anti-aging facial treatments

      • Skin tightening, rejuvenation and cleansing

      • LED and laser-based skin therapies

      • Bespoke skincare consultations

      • Sale of skincare products and aftercare items

    All bookings, service descriptions, and payments are processed via our Fresha Partner Platform.

    Your contract for services is directly with IQ Derma Cape Town, and not with Fresha. Fresha provides only the booking and payment technology.


    3. Booking and Appointments

    You may book treatments online through our Fresha booking portal, via our website (iqdermacapetown.co.za), or by contacting us directly.

    When you make a booking:

       

        • You will receive an email or SMS confirmation from Fresha on our behalf.

        • All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by IQ Derma Cape Town.

        • By confirming a booking, you agree to abide by our Cancellation and No-Show Policies below.


      4. Deposits, Cancellations and No-Show Policy


      Deposits

      We may require a deposit to confirm certain treatments or packages.
      All deposits are credited toward your final treatment cost. Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled outside of the permitted time window or if you fail to attend.


      Cancellations

         

          • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

          • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may result in a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the treatment value.

          • You can cancel through the Fresha app, the booking confirmation email, or by contacting us directly.

        No-Shows

           

            • Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and the full treatment amount may be charged.

            • Repeated no-shows may result in future booking restrictions.

          5. Rescheduling

          Appointments may be rescheduled (subject to availability) at least 24 hours in advance.
          Rescheduling within the 24-hour period may be treated as a late cancellation.


          6. Payment Terms

          You may pay for services:

             

              • Online through the Fresha payment system, or

              • In-clinic using cash, debit/credit card, or other accepted methods.

            All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

            Payment Security

            Payments made via Fresha are processed by Fresha’s authorised payment processors. IQ Derma Cape Town does not store or have access to your full card details.

            7. Health, Safety and Medical Information

            Before any treatment, you must provide accurate and complete medical and skincare information to ensure your safety and suitability for the chosen procedure.

            You agree to:

               

                • Inform us of any medical conditions, skin allergies, medications, or treatments that could affect your procedure.

                • Follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions provided by our therapists.

              IQ Derma Cape Town will not be held responsible for adverse effects caused by failure to disclose relevant health information or by ignoring professional advice.


              8. Products and Returns

              IQ Derma Cape Town may sell skincare and aftercare products in clinic or through Fresha.

                 

                  • Products are non-refundable once opened or used.

                  • Refunds or exchanges are only available for defective or damaged products, within 7 days of purchase.

                  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.


                9. Promotional Offers, Vouchers and Packages

                   

                    • Promotional discounts, gift vouchers, and packages are valid only for the specified services and dates.

                    • Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be presented at the time of booking or treatment.

                    • IQ Derma reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotions without notice.

                  10. Marketing and Communications

                  By providing your email address or phone number during booking, you explicitly consent to receiving marketing communications from IQ Derma Cape Town about treatments, promotions, and skincare tips.

                  You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in our emails or by emailing oxana@iqdermacapetown.co.za.

                  Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect your ability to book appointments or receive service updates related to your treatments.


                  11. Liability

                  While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and effective experience:

                     

                      • IQ Derma Cape Town is not liable for adverse reactions where proper aftercare instructions or health disclosures were not followed.

                      • Treatments are performed by qualified and experienced therapists; however, results may vary depending on individual factors such as skin type and lifestyle.

                    • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the service purchased.

                    12. Client Conduct

                    We maintain a professional and respectful environment.
                    We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who behaves inappropriately, abusively, or violates clinic policies.


                    13. Personal Data and Privacy

                    Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available at iqdermacapetown.co.za/privacy).

                    All personal, medical, and contact information collected via Fresha or directly is used solely for booking, treatment, and communication purposes in line with POPIA (the Protection of Personal Information Act).


                    14. Governing Law

                    These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
                    Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.


                    15. Updates to Terms

                    IQ Derma Cape Town may amend these Terms of Service at any time to reflect updates in our business, pricing, or booking systems.
                    Revised terms will be posted on our website and will apply to all future bookings.
